Steve Friar

A graduate of West Catholic High School and Grand Valley State Colleges, Steve began his business career in the accounting department of Rapistan, Inc, in Grand Rapids in 1974. After 17 years in finance management for several West Michigan manufacturers, Steve made the decision to start his own accounting and tax practice in June 1991. He earned the credential ABA (Accredited Business Accountant) given by the ACAT in 1992 and EA (Enrolled Agent) given by the IRS in 1994.

Steve has been married to Debbie since 1982 and has 3 children: Matthew, Emily and Jared. Steve is the proud grandfather of Brenna, Max, Jack, Hazel, June, Miles, Maisie & Olivette.

Debra Friar

Debbie was born and raised in the small lakeshore community of Ludington, MI. Immediately upon graduating from high school, Deb ventured into the city of Grand Rapids where she has resided ever since.

Along with raising her family, Deb has over 25 years of administrative experience, eight of which were for a public accounting firm.

Her hobbies include being a loving grandmother, gardening, interior design, painting, stained glass and numerous other artistic endeavors.
